Education Malaysia Jordan Engages with Malaysian University Alums

Education Malaysia Jordan (EMJ) and the Malaysian Universities Alumni of Jordan (MUAJ) recently hosted a networking Iftar event on Wednesday, 4th April 2024, at Kempinski Hotel Amman, officiated by the Ambassador of Malaysia to Jordan, His Excellency Mr Mohammad Nasri Abdul Rahman.
Hundredalums attended the event which was held to strengthen professional ties between the alums in Jordan and provide a platform to network and share their experiences.
During the event, His Excellency the Ambassador highlighted the importance of networking and the role of alums in promoting Malaysia-Jordan relations. Moreover, the Ambassador was deeply impressed and thrilled by the remarkable initiatives spearheaded by EMJ resulted in several collaboration initiatives released, including joint research projects, visiting professor initiatives, and the UniConnect program. He strongly advised the alums to get involved in the thoughtful initiatives by EMJ. During his speech, Ambassador Mohamad Nasri supplicates Dua’a to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip wishing for the war to end very soon and they to live in free, peace, and healthy places. Minister Counsellor (Education) Assoc. Prof. Dr Radzuwan Ab Rashid encouraged the alums to develop a sustainable professional relationship with Malaysia by engaging with various Education Malaysia Jordan initiatives.The president of MUAJ, Prof. Mohammad Abu Shuqier, commended the quality of education provided by Malaysia, citing the successful graduates from the country as evidence. This acknowledgment is crucial in promoting Malaysia as a hub for quality education and further strengthening the relationship between Malaysia and Jordan.
MUAJ which was formally established in 2020 provides a platform for alums to engage each other and currently has more than 1000 members.
The event was a great success and served as a testament to the strong bonds between Malaysia and Jordan and the critical role of alums in strengthening these ties.
