In a bid to foster stronger academic bonds and promote collaboration between nations, EMJ recently orchestrated a significant milestone: the working visit of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Jordan delegation to Malaysia. Led by Mr. Mohannad, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education Jordan, and Mr. Abdullah, Head of the Edutourism Unit, the delegation embarked on an insightful journey across various educational institutions in Malaysia.
The agenda was packed with purposeful engagements aimed at exploring avenues for academic collaboration between Malaysia and Jordan. The delegation’s itinerary encompassed visits to prominent educational hubs including Yayasan Terengganu, Yayasan Islam Kelantan, the Department of Islamic Religions Selangor, and the JPT, providing a platform for constructive discussions and idea exchanges.
One of the standout highlights of the visit was the opportunity for the delegation to interact with the vibrant student community. Immersing themselves in the local educational landscape, they spent quality time engaging with students from Imtiyaz School in Terengganu and Maahad Muhammadi Women in Kelantan. These interactions not only facilitated cultural exchange but also laid the groundwork for potential collaborative initiatives that could benefit students from both nations.
The visit wasn’t merely a formal exchange of ideas; it was an embodiment of the bridge-building efforts between Malaysia and Jordan. The discussions held during the visit aimed to cultivate a symbiotic relationship, fostering mutual growth and knowledge sharing.
Reflecting on the trip, Mr. Mohannad expressed enthusiasm about the possibilities for collaboration, stating, “The warmth and enthusiasm we received during our visit have been truly inspiring. The potential for academic partnerships between our countries is immense, and we are excited to explore these opportunities further.”
Likewise, Mr. Abdullah emphasized the importance of such visits in nurturing global educational connections, saying, “The shared values and aspirations we discovered during our interactions reinforce the significance of international collaboration in education. Our visit has opened doors for a promising future of academic synergy between Malaysia and Jordan.”
EMJ takes pride in being a facilitator for such impactful visits that pave the way for cross-cultural understanding and academic advancement. The working visit of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Jordan delegation stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in the realm of education, transcending borders for a brighter, more interconnected future. As we look ahead, the seeds of collaboration sown during this visit are poised to blossom into fruitful partnerships, benefiting students, educators, and institutions on both ends. This journey marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in the educational exchange between Malaysia and Jordan.
