Meeting with Jordan Parliament Members

EMJ had a meeting with two representatives of Jordan parliament members, Dr. Abed Al Rahim Ma’aiya and Dr. Ismail Mashagbeh who are also UKM alumni. Among the things discussed include the addition of places for outstanding students from Malaysia to continue undergraduate degree studies at the University of Jordan with special fee rates, hosted by JWG between Malaysia and Jordan, and also the entry of Jordan students to follow the Bachelor’s Degree of Medicine in Malaysia to meet the 5% quota international students on offer. Also discussed is a research cooperation opportunity between Al Bait University and Malaysian researchers, which will be discussed with the EMJ Director’s Honorary Visit to the President of the University for further discussion.
