Networking session with the alumni and MTCP participants

the Embassy of Malaysia in Amman, Jordan hosted the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Alumni Gathering and Networking Dinner. The event was graced by HE Mohamad Nasri Abdul Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Jordan, and attended by Jordan’s MTCP alumni, Jordanian Malaysian Universities alumni, friends of Malaysia, and the local media.

The event served as a platform for the Malaysian Government to continue engaging and building a greater network with the alumni while sharing more information about the MTCP’s upcoming courses and events. It is glad to learn that the MTCP courses have helped the alumni with both their professional and personal goals.

Since its inception in 1980, a total of 487 Jordanian officials have benefited from the MTCP courses. In 2022, 59 Jordanians participated in vast areas of development training such as TVET, maritime management, public administration, cyber-security, rural advancement, petroleum technology, and Islamic finance. Malaysia hopes that more Jordanians could come forward to join future MTCP.
